NGDATA Closes $2.5M in Funding to Fuel Global Expansion

Today is an exciting day for NGDATA, as we announced $2.5 million in new funding and our debut in the U.S. This milestone not only validates the company we have built and the hard work of our dedicated team at NGDATA, but it’s also indicative of how the Big Data market is maturing.

Big Data is accelerating at a rapid pace and over the past year, organizations have started to get a better understanding of the Big Data at their disposal. Recognizing that the key to driving sales and increasing customer loyalty is to create a very personalized interaction with consumers— organizations have started to look for more sophisticated ways to turn their Big Data into intelligence that matters – the very concept from which NGDATA’s consumer intelligence software Lily was designed.

The capital raised from this funding round will enable NGDATA to further invest in R&D as well as drive new business opportunities worldwide. And as part of this expansion, we’re excited to announce new offices in San Francisco and just outside of New York City to serve our growing roster of U.S.-based customers.

This accelerated growth—both from a financial and global expansion standpoint—is made possible from our strategic partners including ING, Sniper Investments, Plug and Play Ventures and other key U.S. angel investors.

Our vision has always been that an enterprise should know their customers better. Big Data insights are critical in driving business improvements, and we take a different approach to how enterprises will use Big Data to achieve greater customer intimacy and help them better classify, target and deliver more personalized offers. Unlike other approaches, our lily solution empowers companies with an interactive 360 degree view of their customers instead of simply focusing on storing, searching and analyzing batch data.
