It’s been an exciting year for the team at NGDATA. We launched our Customer Data Maturity Assessment tool, partnered with the Customer Data Platform Institute’s David Raab to discuss Real-time, Done Right, and have been involved in a variety of insightful campaigns and content alongside industry-leading tech and data specialists. It’s fair to say we’ve been busy!
What better way to round off the year than by being recognized among Real-time Interaction Management (RTIM) providers in Forrester’s Now Tech: Real-Time Interaction Management, Q4 2021 report. This bookends the year nicely as NGDATA was featured in Forrester’s Now Tech: Cross Channel Campaign Management Q1 report earlier this year.
Throughout 2021, we’ve had the opportunity to share our customer experience insights, thought leadership, and platform features and functionalities with audiences across the world. Here, we look back at some of our highlights.
Sharing insights and thought leadership
Earlier this year, Finextra interviewed our CEO, Doug Gross, on building digital customer relationships in banking. Throughout the interview, Doug shared insights on how banks can build meaningful relationships by tapping into their real-time personalization potential – a topic we delved into further as part of our Core Banking Modernization with a CDP campaign.
A few months back, I shared my thoughts on how businesses can create more effective relationships with their customers. Speaking to CMS Wire about B2B marketing, I highlighted the effectiveness of social advertising for lead generation, creating a brand presence, and the importance of “unveiling the human side behind a logo” in an increasingly digital world. Expanding, I discussed how our “marketing performance is less about campaign and sales, and more about the level of interaction and engagement of prospects, clients and their lifetime value.”
Receiving recognition for our achievements
In July, just a few months after being awarded ‘Minicorn’ status, we were chosen as one of the 10 most exciting artificial intelligence start-ups in Belgium by Traxcn. Known for keeping its finger on the pulse of innovation in the field of technology and data, Traxcn is a particularly exciting company to be recognized by. You’ll find NGDATA at the top of the list with a summary of what we do and who we work with!
We were also featured in GeoCTRL’s Location Intelligence Ecosystem Map series, which celebrates the companies providing “location data insights for smarter decisions”. It’s thanks to our Intelligent Engagement Platform, designed to equip marketers with actionable insights driven by rich customer data, that we’ve been recognized as an industry leader in the field of intelligence.
Our Intelligent Engagement Platform may be newsworthy, but our recently launched partner program, NGDATA Inside, also garnered attention in 2021. Speaking to MarTech Series, our Chief Growth Officer Jens Ponnet said:

Earlier this year, we were thrilled to have been featured in Third Door Media’s MarTech Intelligence Report, Customer Data Platforms: A Marketer’s Guide. We were one of 22 customer data platform (CDP) vendors to be highlighted in the report, written to guide businesses as they compare and purchase products from key players in the industry.
Featured Customers also certified us as a ‘top performer’ in the Customer Data Platform category of its 2021 Customer Success Report, which shines a spotlight on the game-changing companies within the software industry. NGDATA’s profile features fantastic testimonials from some of our most valued customers and partners, including the CDP Institute, Belfius Bank, and Michigan State University.

Our financial services expertise was validated further by our position on The Financial New Tech Watchlist 2021. The list, compiled by Capgemini and Efma, recognizes us as a global player that ‘…will help reshape the financial services landscape’.
2021 has been a year full of opportunities and campaigns that have continued to highlight our credibility within the global CDP space. We look forward to next year as we build upon our successes with solid plans and exciting announcements.
