Doug is the Chief Executive Officer at NGDATA and brings more than 30 years of international experience. Prior to NGDATA Doug was previously Executive Director of Corporate Banking Solutions at financial services technology specialists FIS Global. Prior to this Doug was CEO of payments technology firm Clear2Pay America, which was bought by FIS Global in 2014. He also held senior positions with S1, Unisys and HSBC.

Jurgen is the founder and Managing Partner of SmartFin Capital. Previously, he was founder and CFO of Clear2Pay (EU, 2000), a global solutions provider for payment systems to banks. Clear2Pay was purchased by FIS. Before founding Clear2Pay, Jurgen worked as Senior Investment Manager with Dexia Ventures, the venture capital division of Dexia Bank. He is currently member of the board at Itineris, Ribrain, Citymesh and Enqio, which focuses on Big Data and business intelligence consulting. Jurgen is also a member of the investment committee of Vinnof (PMV) and Sniper Investments. He holds a degree in political and social sciences, and an MBA from the University of Antwerp. He also has a postgraduate degree in corporate finance.
Jürgen IngelsFounder and Managing Partner SmartFin Capital
Francis is the Head of Finance & Legal at NGDATA. Francis holds a Master Degree in Commercial and Financial Sciences (HUB, Brussels) and a MSc in Information Technology (Keele University, UK). Previously, Francis held finance positions in different industries and companies such as TriFinance, WDP, Esko, Chesapeake Corp. He has built up a 17 years diverse finance expertise with a focus on financial controlling, reporting and process improvement. When Francis isn’t deep in the numbers, he likes spending his time with his kids and family, enjoys hiking and attending all kinds of cultural events.

As Global VP of Solutions at NGDATA, Guy Gotslak and his team drive innovative customer experience solutions for consumer-facing companies worldwide. As a former software engineer at Northrop Grumman and MySpace, Guy witnessed the growth and importance of data before moving on to become a co-founder at Eccella, which was eventually acquired by NGDATA. At Eccella, Guy spent 7 years building the US consulting practice to enable businesses to become data-driven. Guy leverages his breadth of technical and consumer-focused experience to lead a dynamic team of experts in designing modern, customer-centric, systems that perform, scale, and most importantly, create transformative smart experiences. Guy holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering (UCLA) and is a 2018 candidate for an Executive MBA degree (Northwestern Kellogg School of Management).

As the Vice President, Operations and Professional Services, Russell is responsible for delivery and support services at NGDATA. He has over 20 years of consulting, solution design, delivery, implementation, and support services expertise with a variety of international clients serving many diverse industries. Previously, Russell has held senior management positions in R&D and Finance, including Vice President, R&D Global Compliance and Supply Chain Execution at Descartes Systems, President of a Solutions Consulting firm and CFO for a transportation EDI VAN. When Russell isn’t deeply engaged in our customers’ success, he enjoys golf and travel.

Jens is Vice President of Professional Services and Operations in Asia-Pacific and has been calling the region his home for many years. In his prior experience, Jens was head of an Analytics & IoT division in Asia-Pacific with solutions consisting of BI & analytics, data science and Internet of Things where he was responsible for business development and operations. Jens joined NGDATA because of his passion for big data & artificial intelligence being applied in the customer data space to achieve the ultimate goal of creating great customer experiences. He holds a Master of Science in Business Engineering from Ghent University in Belgium.

Molly has more than 20 years of marketing management and leadership experience with technology startups. Her diverse background covers all facets of marketing from advertising and digital marketing to public relations and promotions. She has successfully built marketing organizations from the ground up in both the US and Europe. Previously, Molly headed marketing at companies including Imprivata, Novell, SilverStream Software, Pilot Software and Powersoft. When Molly isn’t promoting the great solutions of NGDATA, she can be found skiing or hiking in the San Juan mountains of Colorado.

Edwin Madou, who serves as the Vice President of Sales for Europe at NGDATA, has more than 20 years experience in business development and strategy, including an extensive software and services background. Edwin has held a number of executive leadership positions in the technology industry, successfully overseeing business development, sales strategy, execution and management. Before joining NGDATA, Edwin served as International Business Development Director for Protime, a provider of Workforce Management software solutions. Prior to that, Edwin served as Sales Director for Securex, and held top management positions at Descartes/Porthus, Siemens and Xerox. Edwin graduated from Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen with a degree in commercial and financial sciences, and has received an entrepreneurial MBA from Flanders Business School, in association with the Kellog School of Management, Chicago.
Edwin MadouVP of Sales, Europe
Michel is a serial entrepreneur, private investor, advisor and board member, serving on the boards of public and private companies and private equity funds. He was co-founder, chairman and CEO of Clear2Pay, a finance technology company focused on global payment solutions, before it was acquired by FIS (Nasdaq: FIS) in 2014. Before Clear2Pay, Michel was founder, CEO and chairman of FICS, a fintech company specialized in online banking and compliance reporting. In 1999, FICS merged with Security First Technologies, creating the leader in Internet banking – S1 Corporation (Nasdaq: SONE), with Michel as its chairman. He also was executive chairman of Data4S, a data analytics specialist, focusing on anti-money laundering applications. The company got acquired in 2004. Michel holds a M.Sc. in electronic engineering and computer sciences and a degree in economics and finance from the University of Leuven in Belgium. He is multi-lingual and operates worldwide.

Ms Katrin Geyskens is a partner at Capricorn Venture Partners (www.capricorn.be) where she is driving the Capricorn ICT Fund focusing on venture investments in the areas of Digital Healthcare and Big Data. Recent investments include NGDATA, Right Brain Interface and Cartagenia. Katrin joined Capricorn Venture Partners through its merger with Quest Management in January 2012. At Quest, she was since 2001 responsible for venture investments in ICT companies and 3rd party venture funds, investing out of Quest for Growth (quoted on Euronext Brussels, ticker: QFG). Before this, Katrin acquired extensive experience in banking and management consulting at CERA Bank (now KBC), Merrill Lynch (now BofA) and A.T.Kearney. She currently serves as Chairman Elect for the Belgian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association. Katrin holds a Master of Business Economics: Business Engineering degree from KU Leuven and an MBA of the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.

Dominique is long standing manager in the IT services and software world with key managements positions held in Cap Gemini as Group Vice President, Atos as Group COO and SopraSteria as Managing Director. He now is the CEO of ELS, European leader in digital legal tax and regulatory publishing encompassing 8 countries, over 2000 employees and over 400 MEuros. He is also Chairman of Rocket Lawyer Europe (a LegalTech company), Board Member of ESCP Europe, Investment Committee member of Parvilla II (a PE fund) and Treasurer of the French Publishing association (SNE). Previously, Dominique has been an independent Board member of Clear2pay. Dominique earned an MBA of ESCP Europe and a CPA graduation. Dominique is also a Knight of the French Legion of Honour.

Manfred Krikke is a partner of HPE and has over 20 years of investment banking, operating and private equity investment experience in the technology sector. He spent 16 years working in the US and has a strong Silicon Valley network. Manfred is responsible for the firm’s investment processes and manages the investment team. Prior to joining HPE, Manfred was a technology investment banker at Montgomery Securities and a partner at TPG Capital, where he focused on technology growth investments. As an entrepreneur, Manfred was involved in growing a software company from its inception to a successful IPO on the Nasdaq. Manfred was further involved in over 30 transactions raising over $2 bln in growth capital for technology companies, including 15 IPOs such as Siebel Systems, Real Networks, Open Text, and Raptor Systems. Manfred earned a master’s degree in Business Economics from the Vrije University in Amsterdam. He is currently a guest lecturer on the topic of private equity at the post-doctorate Investment Management program at the VU School of Finance. He speaks English, Dutch, Italian, German and (some) French. Manfred resides in the Netherlands with his wife, Erin, and his 3 children.

Luc is the Partner of Venture Capital at Idinvest Partners, and focuses on information technology and services industries. Prior to joining Idinvest, Luc took part in the launch of the National Investor private equity program in Abu Dhabi (UAE), and served as investment director in the offset team of Giat Industries (Nexter Group) in Abu Dhabi. Previously, Luc was the CFO of Webcorp, and worked as audit manager at Cabinet Constantin. Luc serves as a board member for Crocus Technology, Groupe Bernard Julhiet, and Meilleure Gestion. Other investments include Cosmosbay (acquired by Solucom), Lea (acquired by HF), and Sefas Innovation (acquired by Docapost). Luc holds a Master’s degree in accounting, finance, and business law from Nantes University.

Doug Cutting has been working in the field of information retrieval for more than 15 years. He is the creator of numerous successful open source projects, including Lucene, Nutch and Hadoop. He currently serves as Chief Architect of Cloudera, Inc. Prior to this, he served three years at Yahoo! And before Yahoo, he developed novel approaches to information access at Excite, Apple and Xerox PARC. He serves as a Director of the Apache Software Foundation and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics from Stanford University.

Mr. Jean-Francois Van Kerckhove (JF) serves as Vice President of M&A and Business Development at eBay. Prior to his current role, JF joined eBay in 2007 as VP of Corporate Strategy at eBay Inc., and subsequently led Operations and New Business Incubation for eBay. Before joining eBay, JF was SVP at Spirent Communications, and a member of McKinsey’s West Coast High-Technology and Corporate Finance leadership teams. JF started his career at the Alcatel’s Corporate Research Center. He received an M.B.A. from INSEAD and an M.S.E.E. from K.U.Leuven in Belgium.
Jean Francois Van KerckhoveVice President Corporate Strategy, eBay
Guy Weyns is a founder and managing director of Arundel Capital, an investment advisory firm based in London. A former faculty member of Harvard Business School, Guy joined Goldman Sachs in 1995 to work in the bank’s principal investments group as well as its financial institution’s M&A team. After Goldman Sachs he joined Morgan Stanley, where he became a Managing Director of the Global Investment Research division and led the development of the bank’s fundamental analysis and valuation tools. In addition, he created and directed Morgan Stanley’s flagship thematic research publication, the Blue Papers. Guy holds a PhD from Stanford University and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Gent in Belgium.
