Lily 2.4 is available!

Today, we are making Lily 2.4 available to the world. This new release is a next step forward in providing the most advanced Customer Data Management Platform, integrating a real-time Customer Interaction Database,  advanced Customer Intelligence Applications, built on top of a Big Data Repository. With Lily 2.4, we deliver an easily installable solution that enables our customers to gather and analyze information regarding their customers – their behaviors and intents; to gain deep insights and make them actionable; and to enhance customer relationships.

The focus of this Lily 2.4 release are substantial improvements to the Customer Interaction Database. We added support for Master Record data management – combining and linking data from all sources to introduce the single view of customer. In addition, we also support the calculation of cross-customer aggregates and interaction summaries – providing insights at both the detailed customer level, as well as at the customer segment level. We have also extended the capabilities to browse through and search for all data stored in the Customer Database, from both a customer angle as well as from a product or service level. Finally, we included the capability for companies to prepare and export subsets of customer interaction data for specific analytical processing or reporting applications.

With that, the Lily 2.4 Customer Database provides a Data Management Platform capable of handling billions of customer interaction datapoints and supporting deep insights into customer behavior and intent.

We have also added new features into our Customer Intelligence Applications. These allow marketing users and data scientists to include specific business logic in scoring and recommendation strategies. Also available are easy to use tools to better understand and evaluate the performance and accuracy of customer-product recommendations.

Finally, Lily Enterprise contains new Big Data Repository capabilities that enable you to share a single installation across multiple tenants (divisions, subsidiaries, brands…), all in the same environment. We have added a number of technical features that facilitate the management of data such as recordtype inheritance, field-level metadata, high availability support and improved installation scripts. Together with Cloudera, we also have improved HBase Indexing and Searching capabilities – which are also now available as part of  Cloudera Search. Lily is the first ISV application that is certified on a full-stack-architecture: running on top of Cloudera CDH, as well as the Oracle Big Data Appliance.
